Venom - In Nomine Satanas

Venom to założony pod koniec lat 70. angielski zespół metalowy, będący jednym z najważniejszych przedstawicieli nurtu New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Dwie pierwsze płyty formacji z Newcastle, Welcome To Hell (1981) i Black Metal (1982), uchodzą za klasyczne dzieła dla fanów ekstremalnych gatunków muzyki metalowej. Tytuł drugiego z nich posłużył nawet za nazwę dla muzyki black metal. Grupa w najważniejszym w swojej historii składzie Cronos, Mantas i Abaddon nagrała również dwa kolejne krążki studyjne At War With Satan (1984) i Possessed (1985) oraz zarejestrowała album koncertowy Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (1986).

Wcześniej wydany jako deluxe box set winylowy w 2019 roku, w 2022 roku In Nomine Satanas ukazuje w wersji zawierając 6CD + DVD.

Box zawiera oryginalne nagrania Venom z okresu współpracy z Neat Records: od ich debiutu z 1981 roku Welcome To Hell do Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, czyli zarejestrowanego koncertu z Hammersmith Odeon z 1985 roku. Wszystkie zostały poddane remasterowi. Zestaw zawiera także kolekcję niewydanych nigdy demówek z archiwum zespołu, pod tytułem Sons Of Satan, na której znajdują się między innymi bardzo wczesne nagrania kapeli na żywo.

Dla fanów Venom i ekstremalnego metalu to idealna kompilacja dokonań z okresu kształtowania się tej kapeli.
