USB/TTL/UART/RS232 converter - 3,3V/5V output - PL2303HX - Arduino
USB-UART/RS232 adapter converter - 3,3V/5V output - PL2303HX - Arduino
Universal converter module with USB output - UART - RS232. It allows you to program Arduino tiles (e.g. MultiWii) and others with RS232/ TTL input that do not have a USB connector on their board.
Description of the USB-UART/RS232 converter
- Controller based on PL2303HX chip
- compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0
- Drivers do download from this page spacers "files" and current from the manufacturer's site driver
Do connections just apply
- GND
- TXD
- RXD
- Power the controller board with your own voltage (not from the USB converter)
- Two LED diodes indicating communication
- It is very important to properly connect the do motherboard - another connection can cause damage to the board electronics or FTDI.
- Included in the price sam converter, without USB cable and other cables.
- Designed do any boards with TTL/ RS232 input (TX/RX)
NOTE!
The PL2303 controller does not work with Windows 8.0 / 10, additional drivers needed to make it work.
Procedure for using a converter with Arduino and similar circuits
If you want to use the do upload do Arduino or similar layouts, you should restart the entire external layout immediately after compilation (and at the beginning of uploading) (reset button to PCB Arduino). This is how the programming sequence is defined, with an unrebooted microcontroller the program may not be uploaded.
