We may say, in passing, that no reader who will attend to the parallel accounts Of St. Mat thew and St. Mark can fail to note that where the former writes kingdom of heaven, the lat ter writes kingdom of God. Evidently they stand for exactly the same thing, heaven deriving all its significance from the fact of its being viewed as the dwelling-place of God, the realm Where He is all in all. It will be sufficient, therefore, if we study the more common phrase, the kingdom of God.
