The Tune2Air Plug-And-Play wireless Bluetooth adapter allows you to add Bluetooth music integration into your vehicle without factory Bluetooth connectivity.  This adapter plugs into the factory-existing dock connection.  This connector is found on models that come from the factory with AMI (Audi Music Interface), MDI (VW Media-In Multimedia Port), and MMI (Mercedes Media Interface) ports.

Instead of manually plugging the iPod into the cable connected to the media sockect every time you enter the car, you instead connect the Tune2Air WMA3000A with integrated cable to the original media socket which you would have normally connected your OEM iPod lead to. The Tune2Air is then left in the car permanently connected to the original socket.

Once the Tune2Air is connected to your car and paired with your device, every time you re-enter the vehicle the Bluetooth connection will be established automatically, meaning that your full music library will be instantly accessible on your in-car iPod interface, without having to remove the phone from your bag/pocket and manually plugging into the cable. This allows for a much more enjoyable in-car music experience as you can simply get in and drive, without the risk of leaving the device in the car after the journey..

The Tune2Air offers a complete level of integration designed to replicate the results of physically connecting your device to the existing AMI/MDI/MMI dock connector in the car. If your current iPod/iPhone setup shows track, album, playlist and album artwork info on the cars original screen then all this information can still be viewed on screen using the Tune2Air. The Tune2Air retains all of the cars original controls, so you can continue to use the dashboard and steering wheel controls present in your car to operate the iPhone/iPod in the same way as if it was physically connected.

What is the difference between Bovee Viseeo Tune2air WMA1000, WMA2000 and WMA3000?

Few years ago Bovee (Viseeo) released its best seller Tune2air WMA1000. It is a Bluetooth adapter that connects to an integrated 30-pin cable (non-USB) for an iPhone in a car to enable Bluetooth connection between an iPhone, Android or Windows phone to stream music directly to the head unit. There are many car models that have this iPod / iPhone system such as BMW, Ford, Audi Music Interface (AMI), Mercedes Media Interface and Volkswagen Media-in Multimedia Port (MDI).

To understand if the WMA1000 is compatible with your car is pretty easy. If your car has an integrated iPhone media interface with a 30-pin cable then it will work. However, in other cars the iPhone media interface (BMW, Lexus, Infinity, Ford, Fiat and others) was based on USB port. A lot of people think that if you have a USB to 30-pin cable you can connect Tune2air WMA1000 and it will work without any problem. But they are wrong. Due to the differences in the head units and that kind of iPods media interfaces compared to the integrated 30-pin cable interface the WMA1000 is not compatible.

For that reason Bovee (Viseeo) had to release a new product Viseeo Tune2air WMA2000, which is specifically designed for USB audio interface. This device is also compatible with aftermarket stereos that have Apple certified MFI USB type iPhone ports.

Lastly, recently Viseeo released a third version of Tune2air WMA3000. This device was released to solve two last issues:

Viseeo Tune2air WMA3000A version was released for that reason. It comes with the cable already integrated into it. Please note that it is compatible only with Audi Music Interface (AMI), Mercedes Media Interface and Volkswagen Media-in Multimedia Port (MDI) because other car manufacturers use a different cable connection port.

Ich habe ein audi s5 baujahr 2007 und einem mmi 2g mit ami schnittstelle im handschuhfach. alles nach vorschift gemacht trotzdem keine blaue led etc.

Nur mit Turn2air verbinden ohne mmi dann müsste der Fehler weg gehen sonst vielleicht Handy Updates alle machen dann sollte es auch gehen

Mein WMA3000A funktionierte bei meinem AUDI A4 B8 BJ 10/2008 nicht. Auf Nachfrage beim Hersteller, kam die Antwort, dass die 3000A-Version nicht mit Autos vor Baujahr 2010 kompatibel ist. In allen mir bekannten Schriftstücken steht was von "mit allen Autos mit AMI kompatibel". Ich habe dann das 3000A zurückgeschickt und das WMA1000 bestellt. Dieses muß dann aber über den AUDI-Adapter mit dem 30pin-Apple-Connector (wie z.B das Iphone4 ihn hätte) mit dem WMA 1000 verbunden werden. Das läuft nun bei mir. Da der 3000A sicher grundsätzlich ähnlich nett wie der 1000er funktioniert, vergebe ich trotzdem 4 Sterne. Gut wäre, wenn der Herstelle in die Prudukbeschreibung das Mindestbaujahr vermerkt, das würde vielen Kunden sicherlich einiges ersparen ;)

Ich fahre einen Audi A5 und war doch sehr enttäuscht das ein Auto für knap 20.000 Euro lediglich eine Bluetooth Freisprecheinrichtung bietet. Naja, sei es drum, ich kam dann wegen mehrere Empfehlungen auf tune2air und muss sagen, ich bin begeistert, an das AMI rangesteckt, gekoppelt und siehe da ich kann alle Spotify Songs Problemlos runterladen bei Offline Verfügbaren Songs wird sowohl im Display des Tachos als auch im MMI selber nach kurzer Zeit Interpret und Song angezeigt. Die Soundqualität finde ich super und klar. Was ich auch ein paar mal hatte, waren kurze aussetzer im Millisekunden Bereich, was mich aber nicht weiter stört weil es nur sehr sehr selten vorkommt.

Ich bin bis jetzt wirklich zufrieden und werde es weiter ausgiebig testen.

Liebe Leser, Tune2Air lief bis zum IOS 11 Update prima, dann kam Apple und Tune2Air funktionierte nicht mehr. Keine Lautstärkeregelung, über Lenkrad etc. nicht meht bedienbar. Ich habe dann Viseoo angeschrieben und folgende Lösung bekommen, die tatsächlich funktioniert hat, wichtig die Reihenfolge beachten :

1.Im Itunes Store auf dem Handy ein Song runterladen

2.Im Bluetooth Menü auf Tune2Air gehen und auf Ignorieren drücken.

3.Bluetooth im Menü komplett ausschalten

4.Gerät Neu starten

5.WMA3000 ausstöpseln

6.Iphone wieder anschalten

7.Bluetooth anschalten

8.Tune2Air wieder einstöpseln

9. Pairen

Ich verwende den WMA3000A in einem Mercedes E-Klasse Coupé (C207/BJ2010) und ich muss sagen, ich bin restlos begeistert! Der Dongle macht exakt das was er soll. Smartphone (iPhone X) kann in der Tasche bleiben, und ich habe trotzdem vollen zugriff auf meine Musik, Soundqualität ist Top, Steuerung über Lenkrad sowie Scrollwheel funktioniert ebenfalls, Verbindung wurde bis jetzt immer Automatisch aufgebaut sobald ich die Zentralverriegelung öffne und einsteige, ich bin glücklich!

es gibt da ein paar kleine Eigenarten die man bedenken muss, aber für die kann der dongle Ansich nichts.

wirklich perfekt funktioniert der zugriff auf Playlisten über das Comand, sowie die Titelanzeige und die Steuerung über das Lenkrad beim iPhone scheinbar nur wenn man Apple Music als Streamingdienst nutzt.

Das liegt aber wohl mehr an Mercedes bzw. an Apple als an dem WMA3000A, denn die Mercedes Software ist eben auf "iPod" (heutzutage gleichbedeutend mit Apple Music) geeicht, nicht auf irgendwelche Drittanbieter apps.

An alle Spotify Fans: Keine Panik, Spotify funktioniert definitiv auch! (auch wenn ich sogar auf einer Website die nach der des Herstellers aussah gelesen habe das Spotify nicht kompatibel wäre).

Also Spotify kann genutzt werden! Klang ist auch hier einwandfrei, nur für die Bedienung am Lenkrad und Titelanzeige kann ich momentan nicht Garantieren (ich Teste erst seit einem Tag).

Aber so wie ich das bis jetzt sehe kriegt man auch Spotify nahezu komplett zum laufen (also inkl. Titelanzeige und Lenkrad), das muss ich aber wiegesagt erst noch weiter austesten, da ich nach einem ersten kurzen test mit Spotify erstmal bei Apple Music geblieben bin.

Aber das abspielen von Liedern via Spotify ist definitiv möglich bei mir.

Was man verstehen muss ist: Es handelt sich hier NICHT einfach nur um einen Bluetooth AUX-In, sondern der Dongle spielt dem Auto quasi vor das ein iPod/iPhone via Kabel angeschlossen ist, und weil die meisten Mercedes Modelle Softwareseitig "iPod vorbereitet" sind habt ihr dadurch dann Zugriff auf eure Playlisten etc.

heißt im Umkehrschluss allerdings auch das ein zugriff auf Spotify-Playlisten im Comand definitiv nicht möglich sein wird.

Mein Tip an Mercedes Fahrende iPhone Besitzer in der selben Situation wie ich: freundet euch mit Apple Music an, das Angebot an Musik ist sowieso (fast) das gleiche wie bei Spotify, dafür bekommt ihr dann den vollen Funktionsumfang, also Playlists direkt im Comand auswählen, durch die tracks scrollen etc. etc.

Nach ca. 3 Stunden dauertest hatte ich keinen einzigen Fehler an irgendeiner stelle, und auch keine Ton Aussetzer, alles hat perfekt funktioniert.

Also der Dongle bekommt von mir jedenfalls 5 Sterne. Da er innerhalb von 10 Sekunden ein Problem gelößt hat das mir wirklich sehr am Herzen lag, und das ganz ohne das es wie eine Notlösung wirkt.

Das einzige was mich stört ist das sich Scheinbar viele andere kunden darüber beklagt haben das der Dongle nach ein paar Monaten den Geist aufgegeben hätte, ich hoffe wirklich sehr das sich das bei mir nicht bewahrheitet.

Was braucht ihr nun also um diesen Dongle in eurem Mercedes zu nutzen?

- Das "Mercedes Media Interface" (Code 518) muss vorhanden sein.

das ist die Buchse in die der Dongle eingesteckt wird, diese befindet sich oftmals in der Mittelkonsole, bei mir ist sie allerdings ziemlich versteckt an der decke vom Handschuhfach.

Das Gerät ist vor 2 Tagen angekommen. Lieferung war pünktlich. Das Gerät ist sehr klein und perfekt für meinen Audi A5 EZ 2011. Das Gerät hat sich sofort einwandfrei verbunden mit dem AMi des Autos. Zu Beginn gab das Gerät ständig an das keine Spielbaren Titel verfügbar sind. Dann habe ich mich im Internet belesen dort wird oft beschrieben dass man sein die Musik auf dem zB iPhone schon vor dem koppeln abspielen muss. Das habe ich natürlich gemacht und es lief dann einwandfrei. Dafür gibt es aber definitiv den Punkt Abzug sonst bin ich sehr zufrieden ich kann direkt am Display im Auto die Musik weiter schalten, sehe zwar nur an der Anzeige am Lenkrad welcher Titel gespielt wird das ist aber nicht schlimm. Sonst wird auf dem Hauptdisplay angezeigt das Spotify läuft.

Hoffe ich kann euch bei eurer Entscheidung helfen.
