After the One Ring is passed to him by his uncle, Bilbo, Frodo sets out on the perilous journey to deliver it to Rivendell – only to find himself embarking the enormous task of taking the Ring to Mordor and the fires of Mount Doom. Before setting out with his close friend, Frodo, Sam Gamgee had been a gardener and was happily content with his simple life. However, when the time has called for it, Sam has proven fiercely loyal to Frodo, overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds to help his companion in his struggle with the Ring.

The twisted creature known as Gollum, however, has two very distinct sides to his personality, each constantly at war with the other within the creature's mind. However, the kindness and faith Frodo shows to him allows Sméagol to eclipse the vile Gollum and become trustworthy – at least for the time being.

This set of metal miniatures depicts the trio of Frodo, Sam, and Gollum in Ithilien moments before they are captured by Faramir and his Rangers. Frodo is shown resting on a rock, exhausted from their travels, while Sam prepares a fire to make a stew, wishing he had some golden potatoes, and Sméagol's emaciated frame is squatting on a rock while he tears into a raw fish.

This metal kit contains three components with three 25mm Round Slotta bases and is supplied unassembled and unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
