Bastian is a barefoot boy from Germany. Designed as a 16.5 inch seated doll, he's made of porcelain with a hand-modeled head and face. Bastian's semi hand-knotted real hair wig is loosely styled and adds to his casual disposition. One-of-a-kind mouth-blown German glass eyes add the perfect touch of realism to this handsome boy. An exclusive outfit handmade by Annette, Bastian wears brown overalls lined with fabric to match hi red plaid blouse. Bastian is a porcelain Artist's Proof from 1985 and served as a blueprint for Annette's very first vinyl collection called Barefoot Childrencreated in 1986.[The Barefoot Children] have to be the most important dolls that I have made.
